》 about 《

Rémy Sax, *1994, is a musician, artist and composer based in Winterthur and Frauenfeld, Switzerland.  He is part of Carve Up!, Wohnung der Love, Gamma Kite and the artist collective Clown College.

I use video, text, sound, performance, and installation in my artisic work. I work alone or collectively, arranging and experimenting, always interested in moving forward together. Gestures from music play a central role here. Letting yourself drift in repetitions, rehearsing, practicing, improvising, finding compromises, and enduring uncertainties. In this very process-oriented “flow,” fine poetic threads are spun that run through a virtual apartement, an abondend tower, past some plaster fruits, failed underwater expeditions, and small houses at the end of the road and hold - like in a song - the different parts together. Parts of old newspapers, cardboard, paste, and plaster build playful new worlds. Insignificant places suddenly get heavier, thus serving as alternatives to capitalist narratives that are always oriented upwards — a playground in a small town, a squat, a sunken treasure.
